Last week, you began searching in the Walden Library for peer-reviewed research articles on your social work topic of interest. What have you found so far? What is missing? The research process involves repeated consultation with the existing literature to understand what is known on the topic—and what is not known. The “not known,” in other words the gap, indicates the need for further investigation in the form of a research study.
